Project Team
Each project regardless of size requires a dedicated team to schedule, coordinate and assemble all aspects of the complex building
process. With Taconic, the client can rely on a coordinated group of specialists committed to the highest standards in workmanship
and client satisfaction. All project teams include an executive-in-charge, project manager, field supervisor, estimator and
administrative staff organized to deliver each job with the ultimate in personal service.
Pre-Construction
Vital to a successful project are informed decisions made early during the planning stages regarding schedule, budget and scope of
work. Our experienced estimators develop strategic cost analysis to establish a balance between budget and scope of work. Our project
managers identify and contact the best subcontractors for the job and research and procure long-lead equipment and materials to fast
track all projects, with sensitivity to all issues of sustainability.
Under-Construction
Taconic Builders provides leadership throughout construction, controlling schedules, permits, inspections, budgets, and maintaining
the highest level of security and safety. Supervision of budgets and timelines is ongoing as are scheduled meetings and reports for
clients. Sensitivity to clients’ privacy as well as that of their neighbors is a hallmark of Taconic service, as is the advance
knowledge of all ordinances pertaining to construction and renovation within specific buildings and communities.
Post-Construction
Truly white glove service doesn’t end with the successful completion of a project. Taconic Builders has designed a special Post
Construction Department that develops customized project manuals for clients containing all of the vital information for the care
and maintenance of their new properties. In addition to giving a copy to the client, Taconic keeps a copy on file to answer any
