The firm expanded in 2004, opening an office in Chicago. Lichten Craig's work has been featured in the New York Times, Elle Decor, House & Garden, Architectural Digest and Shelter. In 2004, the firm was invited to participate in House & Garden's Hampton Designer Showhouse.

The success of Lichten Craig's projects can best be attributed to the strength of its design vision. Recent work includes the award- winning restoration and expansion of a 1950s landmark townhouse just off of Fifth Avenue, a project which included the excavation of the building to create a skylit glass mosaic and limestone clad pool; a new 5,000 square foot mountain house and the renovation of the library, theatre, and seven houses in the historic community of Onteora; the renovation of two Cape Cod beach houses; the interior design of several Dominican Republic beachfront villas; the restoration of a historic Chicago house; the interiors of a Monterrey peninsula golf villa; and interior design and architecture for projects in New York's River House, One Sutton Place, One Beekman Place, and Park and Fifth Avenues.
