Founded in 1997, David Johnston Architects is a full-service architecture and planning firm emphasizing quality design and a hands-on service for residential, commercial and mixed-use projects. Focusing predominantly on residential architecture at its beginnings, the firm was guided by a simple principle: "to create livable and vibrant residences within the vision and context of the surrounding environment." Over a decade later with two busy offices in the Roaring Fork Valley of Colorado, DJA is now leading projects of varying scope and scale throughout the country and beyond. As the firm has grownand diversified, the original vision has also evolved. "To create sustainable, livable and vibrant places by finding a balance between the social, environmental, economic aesthetic contexts of each new location."

Today DJA proudly offers a wide range of services to provide a holistic approach to the general real estate process - from design through development, ultimately achieving a more sustainable product that satisfies the clients vision as well as the community.
